Not only does the Bible call us to support Israel, but God says we will receive a blessing if we do. The Bible says you can support Israel by praying for it’s peace. Through this emergency crisis, your donation will directly provide essential supplies and tactical gear for men and women in the Israel Defense Forces.
Their job is to defend Israel, our job is to look after them.

Serving in the Israeli military is mandatory. (At least for most citizens) Israelis will serve in the IDF for 2-3 years starting at age 18 years old. Jewish people from all over the world come to serve in the Israeli Army.

The Israeli Air Force in particular is regularly recognized as one of the strongest in the world, and about one-third of the IDF’s manpower goes toward the Air Force! An IDF pilot, Giora Epstein, holds the world record for enemy takedowns.

Currently there are 169,500 soldiers actively serving in the Israel Defense Forces. 465,000 veteran soldiers in the IDF’s reserve units, who have already completed their service but can still be called on in times of crisis, or war. Reserve duty is mandatory until age 40 for combat roles and 45 for non-combat.

A variety of animals have helped IDF troops protect Israel, and they are even considered soldiers. Including camels, donkeys, alpacas, dogs, antelopes, and llamas. They even use sheep to guard their ammunition for some military bases, since sheep are very aggressive and protective of their territory. The IDF’s dedication to animals extends to even adopting and caring for stray cats and other feral animals who find their way to military bases.
