Camping for the younger generation is more important and effective than you may think! It not only allows a child to get outside and explore the outdoors, it provides a safe environment for children to develop social skills, it teaches independence, teamwork, and good decision-making skills. Socialization during childhood is so important as it helps a child accomplish more growth and development than reading or even eating vegetables!

A report stated in 2022 (within a 3 1/2 month time frame), 143,000 calls were made to crisis hotlines in Israel. 3,000 of those calls were due suicidal thoughts. In 2018, 876 children and Israeli teens were taken to the emergency room as a result of suicide attempts – 655 girls and 221 boys. Suicide is the second most common cause of death for males aged 15-24 and third most common for females aged 15-24 in Israel.

There are over 50 verses in the Bible that reference children! Jesus spoke very highly of children and how important it is to care for them.
